Would you care if an anime protagonist dies and the story still continues?

would you watch such an anime?
i know most of the people might lose interest after the protagonist's death but still just want to get the opinion lol
 
I don't think I have seen it.
It shouldn't matter as long as the storyline is interesting
 
I think it depends on how much the story is gripping to want to know what happens next or at least with another of the characters. If the protagonist is the only character that is driving me to watch the anime, then once they are gone, I probably won't be able to stand much of the anime and end up either dropping it or given the sunken fallacy force myself through it but not really enjoying it. Haha.

I guess that I count Death Note as a classic anime that falls into this trope.
