Worst series vs disgusting series in anime and manga

I like watching trashy harem shows for the trainwreck factor, but I think the two that stand out to me are:

My Sister My Write: most of the characters are pretty annoying, but the real standout factor on why I actually would remember this show was the notoriously bad animation. I've seen hentai with better animation.

To Love Ru: I only read the manga, but couldn't finish it, I didn't even get to the sequel series. Two reasons I got annoyed at the series is because Rito's probably the dumbest harem protagonist, and also because it seemed like the only consistency the series had was having copious amounts of fanservice, because this manga seemingly jumped genres almost every chapter. So it seemed like it had an identity crisis, outside of attempting to be softcore porn, then that got rectified from what I know of Darkness, where it is softcore porn. It's almost impressive with how many different fetishes they shoehorned into this series.

that's cool

Nope. Harem and reverse Harem isn't my preference. Naiwen like reverse harem
Outside of Fruits Basket, I'm not a fan of reverse harems. The female lead usually feels too much like a self insert character with the whole "oh boo hoo, I can't get a boyfriend because I'm such a plain Jane", then they design her to be the most attractive character in the series, and then 5 dudes are after her and talk about how attractive she is. Sometimes there's also more estrogen than I can stand, despite I can read regular shojo romances just fine...

With male centered harems, I prefer ones that focus on being say a goofy school comedy, or a romcom, as opposed to the ones that are just straight fanservice.

Well true, it makes the reverse harem bit annoying Haha.. regular shojo is more enjoyable to me. As for Harem, actually i never watch harem genre other than the ecchi one hehe..
