Cool. I know a bit of hindi and spanish as well. I'm a bit rusty but I think I could use it to save my life if necessary lol how about you?

Well, Telugu, English.
I can manage Hindi and I can read and write Sanskrit. I do know some Kannada and Tamil words.

All the Indian languages are a bit similar as most of them are originated from Sanskrit.
I can read kannada but speaking it is another story.

Indeed. You could learn it easily, if you know the basics of Hindi.
It's very popular and a compulsory course here

There are some people who takes pride in that.
They are so obsessed with English that they wouldn't give their time to learn their native language, which is very annoying, according to me

Indeed.
But for them not learning their native language is good. If anything, they believe they are getting adapted to modern society

That is just the dumbest logic that I have ever heard. Just saying...you can add the past ways and customs to the new society in my opinion, well most of it

Well, for me native language is more important than any other language. That applies to English as well.
Many people speak maybe language in some funny accent and believes that it makes them look cool.

In my country, I believe Hindi is far important than English. Almost everyone knows Hindi and you could freely go to any state without worrying about language barrier

Exactly my point. If you are born somewhere and especially if you do not plan to migrate or anything like that then there is no absolute need for other languages but your own..it is nice to have at least one but I don't see the need for them in such situations

It's home.
I am not the person who want to settle down in some other country .

Cool but you would like to travel wouldn't you? I actually had a plan of becoming an airhostess so that I could go see the world but life had other plans I guess

Ok that is understandable. It's the same for me I guess. I would love to see the world but I would not like to live anywhere else. Sorry to hear that chick.
