Windows 8.1 and 10 are similar and I don't see why everyone goes gungho about it. Did you notice that it's not easy to change your default browser in windows 10? Are you stuck with edge too?

No, I am using firefox as my defailt browser.

Only people who are familiar with things can do that senpai. Other users would feel really bad if they had to do all that.

As itachisasuke said, it's not easy to change the default browser and many people get stuck with edge as their default browser.

It is not that difficult, there are dozens of pretty simple tutorials available on youtube and after watching any of these tutorial anybody can do it I guess :)

Windows 7 is for sure more graphically demanding then Windows XP because of the new theme that they introduced. You could potentially changed the default theme to be more XP like and I am sure this would drastically drop the amount of GPU usage.

Not many people would try to do that much for a change of browser. Even trolls like me would get tired of them

Easy for you to say senpai.
People can mess up even after going through a ton of tutorials.

Windows 7 was a lot more enhanced than Windows XP and a lot changed inbetween with Vista.

The Aero theme of Windows 7 was also a resource hog compared to the simplistic UI of Windows XP.
