Why the hate towards power of friendship in anime?

It’s overused, and really cheesy.

Oh no, the big bad is about to defeat us, but let’s remember why we are friends

>Super Saiyan 4

>defeat bad guy

The end

I think that sometimes the way it is used feels like a stretch for the climax without making too much sense.

The enemy is overwhelming but by the power of tears and true friendship suddenly the dead ressurect and the villain gets an ass whooping even if their strenght was very below of the villanous guys. It can feel like a cop-out.

I'm nit against the trope if it fits and it's done cleverly, but sometimes it just feel like that Flex-tape slap. XD

Because it seems fake to me.

I agree with that
I haven't watched Dragon Ball but I believe it's the same with Naruto as well

I agree with that.
It's a little surreal, if we think about it

Fairy Tail is a good example of how not to use it. In that case power of friendship is pretty much the ammunition every character uses to resolve any and every conflict they face. It becomes incredibly tiring.

how madara you got that right
i forgot all about that anime until you mentioned. it's even more annoying than naruto

it's corney honestly, like i get it your friends motivate you and all but there's no need to monologue about it, we know everyone knows it doesn't need to be announced.

i personally skip over those bits usually not pages but bubbles

yu-gi-oh is one of my favorites, the manga (NA version) got screwed over big time and i don't mean like censor i mean they missed the point entirely they had it so shadow games actually killed and that it was all games not the cards so hop scotch could turn into a death game

in my opinion it was fucked up i DO NOT reccomend trying it

lol that's one way of putting it mildly
you are right. we can never understand these anime characters competely and they can do anything

yup always hate it when a character does something super inhumane when contrasted to how the anime has been the entire time

There’s a ton of documented evidence that you have it backwards. The anime was the one that was heavily censored, and the manga was mostly uncensored. Yugioh’s censorship by 4kids is one of the most talked about when people bring up 4kids. Things like invisible guns, sling shots, and overplay of the shadow realm. You should see the scenes where they compare and contrast the dub and the sub.

just like me ace is not very good with words
and i got your point but manga censorship is alright because it doesn't looks too real unlike anime censorship
