Is it because, it's been overused?
Or is it because of something else. What do you guys think?

MadaraUchiha said:Fairy Tail is a good example of how not to use it. In that case power of friendship is pretty much the ammunition every character uses to resolve any and every conflict they face. It becomes incredibly tiring.
Ace said:it's corney honestly, like i get it your friends motivate you and all but there's no need to monologue about it, we know everyone knows it doesn't need to be announced.
i personally skip over those bits usually not pages but bubbles
Blackangel said:oh really?
i skip them too when i read manga and i don't see any lapse in story progress because of that
Ace said:ye, yu-gi-oh is a pretty good example on it done right (atleast in most) they're not super in your face about it or anything but i could be biased
Blackangel said:i competely get it
and yugioh is popular card game but i have not watched the anime or played the game
Ace said:yu-gi-oh is one of my favorites, the manga (NA version) got screwed over big time and i don't mean like censor i mean they missed the point entirely they had it so shadow games actually killed and that it was all games not the cards so hop scotch could turn into a death game
in my opinion it was fucked up i DO NOT reccomend trying it
Blackangel said:that's cool
you saved me as i had been thinking a lot about cleaning up my list and checking a few things
Ace said:lol the anime's fine but not the manga, kinda ruin's your perspective when you see a character you know and love do something no sane human would do
Blackangel said:lol that's one way of putting it mildly
you are right. we can never understand these anime characters competely and they can do anything
Ace said:yup always hate it when a character does something super inhumane when contrasted to how the anime has been the entire time
Blackangel said:i agree too
do you have anyone particular in mind for this? i can't think of a character
