Why Male Characters have interesting personality compared to females in anime?

So any idea why that's the case?
I suppose it depends on the genre as well. What do you all think about it in general?

I'm not really certain I've seen many instances of this. If a series has kinda poor pacing I think it can result in kinda shallow characters, perhaps what you're noticing is something like this?

Most of the time, that's a yes

Interesting take. Why do you think so?
I was watching One piece Wano arc. Robin and Nami, couldn't take down even one prominent character so far.
That made me feel like usually females are ignored after their introduction. At the beginning however, Robin was invincible

Not exactly. After their introduction they are pretty much ignored

shoujo doesn't have any development for female characters lol
they are always clingy or tomboyish.

Shojo and Shonen aren’t the only two types of anime.

This would only seem to be the case if you are only watching shounen anime. It is and has always been geared toward male interests. Most young boys and unfortunately a lot of men don't like the idea of a girl or woman being equal to or stronger them so very little character development. They are mostly fluff to reflect the main characters manliness.

Check out these and you will find some strong female characters.

1 SWORD AND SORCERY: CLAYMORE.
2 DARK FANTASY: MADOKA MAGICA. ...
3 SLICE OF LIFE: FRUITS BASKET. ...
4 MAGICAL GIRL: SAILOR MOON. ...
5 MECHA: DARLING IN THE FRANXX. ...
6 SCI-FI: GHOST IN THE SHELL: STAND ALONE COMPLEX. ...
7 FANTASY: VIOLET EVERGARDEN. ...
8 ADVENTURE: A PLACE FURTHER THAN THE UNIVERSE.
