Why doesn't anime have more alien invasion themes?

What do you guys think about it?
Do you feel that we need more such themes as part of science-fiction in anime?
 
i am not sure and you are not counting supernatural being like ghosts as aliens here.
did i get that right?
 
Yeah there's not a lot and i wish there were more. I've seen one that had "alien invasion" called Nobunagun which was pretty good

wow and i have never heard of it before gem
how would you rate it in a scale of 10? is it a good watch and would you recommend that anime to me?

I would give it a 7 i think? It's pretty good and an easy watch

but if you are too used to watching main anime, demon it would be very hard to watch small titles.

i want to talk about anime after watching it
if i talk about popular anime, most of the people can recognize it or else it would be hard on me. individual opinion here lol

You can introduce people to stuff, also anime that’s not in the top 20 on MAL isn’t as obscure as you like to pretend.
