Why do you think most of the gaming laptops have back-lit keyboards?

Is it because we tend to pay stuff at night as well?
I really don't get it much....most of the standard laptops don't have back-lit keyboards.....so, what do you think guys?

May be it's easy to distinguish the keys and play efficiently.
Backlit keyboard has it's own set of advantages after all.

I'm not that big of a fan of back-lit keyboards, I have a back-lit keyboard and I like the keyboard its self but if I was to get another one I would just get regular keys. RGB and back lighting has become over used with gaming products where they try to implement it into everything but back when I got it it was still kind of a new cool thing.

Well it is still new here and it is useful when you are working on the computer at night.
I have never worked on a backlit keyboard before but I did witness others using them

To look cool, also from what I understand most gamers play in the dark for some reason, so the light allows them to see the keys.

I thought by now most people who use computers on a daily basis wouldn't need to look at their keyboards to type.

Indeed. Sometimes people forget about the time while doing the stuff they like which includes gaming most of the time. So of course they prefer backlit keyboards

There are many types. You will find multi colored backlit keyboards as well. But I prefer the single colored keyboards
