Why do people want a continuation of the series they like?

what do you think of this? i am sure they wouldn't mind spoilers too.

If I like an anime, I would want it to have even more cool seasons for it and what's wrong with that?
 
i mean a continuation.
not like the seasons sometimes and there are times when people even believe that another extra episode would be great too
