Why do isekai protagonists don't want to go back in anime?

They’re either dead and reincarnated in another world, or they’re in a game and their online life is the focus and not their offline lives.

i don't get it lol
don't they care about their loved one who would miss them?
Like Grungie said most of them are either dead and reincarnated or they have nothing to go back to. But Check out Arifureta: From Commonplace to World's Strongest. Or SAO. They very Much wanted to get back home and were not happy about being stuck in the other world to start with. If you look for them there a number of Isekai animes where the main protagonist wanted to go home and tried to do so.

not in all the anime
sometimes they prefer the adventure and not many anime fans find fault with it. may be it's just me being too emo lol

I watch a lot of isekais, so I know exactly what I’m talking about.

They’re usually stuck in the game, either because they’re reincarnated in the game, or they’re literally trapped in the game. That’s why they can’t go back. They don’t have a choice.

Or it’s a show where they put on their VR headset to play the game, and the story regarding their offline lives are irrelevant to the plot. So they either don’t show it, or it’s very minimal.
