Why are titans so ugly?

Why do they become so ugly man? In human form Eren is good but in titan form he gets very ugly man.
I really don't get it

they are all monsters that terrorize the world. if they look beautiful, then it would lose all the meaning.
i don't like them but i accepted it
 
Isayama's art is pretty shit actually it's not just the titans Wit Studio somehow managed to make everything look pretty and cool.
Although makes sense that they are ugly because they are brainless monsters that stick out their tongue so you can't make them look like Diane from Nanatsu no Taizai.

i agree and i am surprised with your reference. if you are talking about beautiful giants,shirahoshi might have been a better reference.
she is from one piece and you are still following one piece

is a giant so it doesn't matter who I take as an example and it's not like One Piece is my favourite anime or the reference point I use for everything.

i understand and i always remember shirahishi when i remember one piece. she is very beautiful and it's difficult to think oda created her. as you are following one piece, i expected you to use her and nothing more.

there aren't many pretty female characters in one piece.
even nami and robin aren't very pretty like shrahoshi.

Pre-time-skip everyone looks like a stick but post-time-skip both have pretty cool designs.

Everyone got prettier in past time skip man. May be not usopp but everybody else.

i agree with that too but you are forgetting that even in post time skip not everyone looks good.

Haha.. jokes aside, i don't really know.. maybe to give some intimidating aura, or to give impression that they are on the bad side, it could be anything

I don't want them to look like models but a decent human figures would be good enough man
