it's a great anime and usually people recommend it after death note.

Haven't, not in a rush to either. I mean, I'm sure it's good - really good even - but it's not my particular style of anime, and I prefer shorter anime these days.

It got a lot of hype, but none of it undeserved in my opinion. I mean, how do you even decide the hype a show gets is 'too much' if you haven't watched it? Not watching a show because it gets talked about a lot seems rather counterintuitive imo. I mean, I'm sure a lot of shows get more attention than they're due, but that's something you need to decide for yourself. But yeah, I love it.
