What's with the hate towards people who prefer dubbed anime?

I don't see what's wrong with wanting to watch a show in your native language. Not everyone wants to learn a new language. And the ones bitching about dubbing being bad aren’t reading their manga with a translation dictionary I’m sure.

I don't know if I can ever understand without dubbing, atleast subtitles would be good. But I don't understand why would anyone have problem if I watched dubbed movies?
