What ruins your enjoyment of an opening?

is it the spoilers?
or what else makes you dislike an anime opening in general? for me, it's the spoilers.

Nothing much to describe
As long as the series is enjoyable and the music is good,I wouldn't skip the opening.

Depends on the music for me...it's what I look forward to when it comes to openings

lol what do you mean?
lyrics? music or using too many spoilers? anything can make a song bad.

Spoilers have nothing to do with the quality of the song.

There’s no one size fits all for judging song quality, or lack of. It varies from song to song.

oh wow lol
and define bad song for you madara and i am sure it's spectacularly bad

I mean you can't. It's just something you feel. There's no logical explanation for it other than maybe talking about surface level stuff like "the tempo is off" or "the singing is poor".

oh i see
i think i am beginning to understand the poor song part now. then what about music?

Yeah it really comes down to the song for me, if I find it irritating then it doesnt really matter how good the visuals are I'll have to skip it.
While I do listen to a good bit of Japanese music, sometimes certain singers just don't sound right to my Western ears, it can just sound kind of awkward to me so in those instances I'll have to skip it.
