What is your favorite non-canon story of anime/manga series?

It's Saint Saiya Lost Canvas for me. Written and illustrator by Shiori Teshirogi rather than the usual Masami Kurumada. It's so refreshing, very different from the usual formula of Saint Saiya series, characters skill developed heavily, action improved drastically and the story.. to be honest is a lot better than Kurumada's work

I often skipped fillers and the only one I remember is probably the G-8 arc from One Piece. It's very funny and surprisingly good.

I like fate/kalied liner the most among spin offs. If you're talking movies, one piece film Z and strong world were incredible. If you're talking about filler, there's one episode in dragon ball super where beerus fights goku in the monacha costume and it was the funniest shit I've ever seen in a filler episode ever.

Bleach had some amazing fillers, a few arcs far better than what the manga had going on. Sometimes though I wish they would take good fanfiction and animate it.

we might never see anime again but that's kubo's doing. he wanted to draw quincy arc and everything went bad
