Well.. it's Ghost Hound and Mr.Ajikko for me. Ghost Hound full of information about Astral Projection / Out of Body Experience and actual Physicology method about handling trauma. Mr.Ajikko full of information about food and recipe

If it's information about fake stuff it's not really information is it?

It's definitely bakuman for me for a glimpse into the life of a mangaka and the industry. A place further than the universe is also very realistic as far as traveling to antarctica.

Of course information about thing in real life, or i should say series that have lot of references to real thing

There are many anime man and I can't pick one. I learned so much about vampires after watching vampire knight, I learned how not to trust people in extreme situations like Btoom.

I guess every sport anime will ensure that you know about whatever sport it's covering. And I guess Food Wars teaches a lot of about food(obviously) and as Burnsy mentioned Bakuman is a great meta anime about the manga industry.

But those two are already a good examples

Haha.. Tsubasa actually bad about covering the sport itself, the series assuming that everyone already know football

Haha.. that reminds me.. i was read H2 without any knowledge about baseball and i was kinda.. 'damn, what's happening here?' it was rough indeed haha..

i would say seven days
and then other manga too but i don't remember them. this is a great manga which involves highschool life

Some sports anime like one outs , Haikyuu.. got to know the game through that

do you read and know about these sports before watching them?
or whatever they explain in the anime would be enough to understand?

Just seeing the anime itself is enough.. tbh, I don't cross check facts tho..
