What is the first anime you have ever watched?

Loool well I do both. I look at reviews but also get opinions from my friends who have them and leverage them out. If more people like them than dislike them, then I'd probably get them lool.

The first anime that I ever watched was Inuyasha. I had no idea what anime even was before watching Inuyasha. A friend of mine introduced me to it, and my curiosity led me to check out other anime series.
 
My first anime was Death Note. I have to say I was impressed. It definitely did leave a mark on my anime taste. To be honest I thought I wouldn't like anime but boy was I wrong. Death Note today is one of my favorite anime.
 
What was the start of your journey?  What do you remember about it?  Has anyone forgotten the first anime they saw?

If l hadn't died I would have said the same thing but l died and he knows he is going to die too. Not entirely but he must have suspected and I didn't like that

My very first anime (After I came to know about what Anime exactly is) must be Card Captor Sakura...
My first yaoi anime huh, I have not watched much of yaoi, I really enjoy reading it much more than watching. Don't remember though xD
 
Way back on the first days of toonami, before I knew what anime, manga or even what filler was, I first watched Sailor Moon. It was girly, silly but glad to be my first.

If it wasn't Sailor Moon, then for most people it is Pokemon. Which isn't a bad anime to start out with.
 
My first anime was cowboy bebop. I heard my friends talking about it one day and decided to watch and now here I am.

I have been planning to watch it but door various reasons I have been putting it on hold. I will be watching it soon.
It's great that, you have decided to give anime a try
 
You can remember the last one you looked at but can you remember what was the first anime you ever looked at?
 
Very likely it was something Studio Ghibli-ish, but I'm pretty sure the first 'real' anime I ever got into was Naruto.

ETA: Wait, no - does Pokemon count? XD
