for me, not at all lol. it doesn't matter as long as i like the anime
 
I wouldn't care about it. As long as I enjoy the anime it doesn't matter whether I am included in the target audience or not. Some people want to keep their anime liking a secret but that's not me.

As long as it's interesting, I would watch it and drop it, if it's not
 
Most of the popular anime are for teenagers but most of the anime watchers are in the range 18-44, according to the latest statistics in Google. That explains a lot about how different the demographics are.
