I only watched till episode 16 when that big monster thing is released in that slave demi-human palace. So apart from Raphtalia and Filo he gets more?

Not really but melty counts and there's another girl coming up next episode but she doesn't become part of the group but it's felt like a annoying traveling harem since episode 6 with only a few good bits.

It is an annoying travelling harem but Melty eh. Are you watching Dororo as well? I put that on-hold as well I don't feel like watching 1 episode per week so I'm waiting for it to get over.

It's hard to watch dororo, every episode is just misery so I'm watching really slowly I'm lagging by 4 episodes.

From Winter 2019 I'd probably recommend Kaguya-sama the most. The first episode and mayyyybe the second as well can be slightly annoying but it's really fun overall from start to finish.
