lol you have a pointWell being completely unbiased is really hard because to be knowledgeable about a subject without having an interest in it is rare. And if you have an interest in something that interest affects how you think and therefore how talk about it. If you do get someone who doesn't know about the subject opinion it may help you to see points your biases kept you from seeing but those opinions would be vague because they don't know anything. Sort of a catch 22 isn't it?

I will say that I don’t care for review websites that have a clear bias. It’s impossible to not be completely unbiased in a review, but disowning an entire genre is just silly. I know I’m not going to get a “real” answer from them.
Music review sites can be pretty notorious for it. Pitchfork is the most infamous example.
Music communities tend to be big on “street cred”, and hate “trendy bullshit”, so they can reflect that when it comes to certain artists or genres.that's true and i never thought about websites being biased before.
