What do you think about relationships in which the guy is shorter than the girl?

Do you stare when you see couples that have the female partner a lot taller than the male partner? As a woman, would you date a shorter guy? As a man, would you date a taller girl?

Who cares about the height? It's the character, financial stability, independence and equality which are important in a relationship. If you are in it, just for the looks, it wouldn't lead to a happy ending.

I recently started re-watching Ah! My Goddess. Belldandy made an excellent point, and I wish I could remember exactly what she said, but basically, people shouldn't be judged for things they have no control over. Despite Keiichi being only 5' 6", and Belldandy probably about 5' 9", she points out his compassion, kindness, and dedication are far more determinant of his status within society, thus making him a much better partner... or something like that.
