What Anime...

I did not know about the concept of anime's until 2012..............But I remember watching a few episodes of Pokemon in my childhood...........I grew up watching cartoons, and not anime's................Afterall, cartoon network was excellent, those days..............

Those are US things, people here are from all round the world :P Though I do wish we had something Adult Swim when I was a kid *_* I've seen a few episodes of different anime shows when I was a kid, but mostly I've been watching local cartoons. First anime I followed on TV were Pokemon, Evangelion, Slayers. I was junior high age already, dunno if that counts as growing up on =)
 
Well, the first anime i ever watched was Last Exile on Danish Television.

But what got me into anime was Avatar The Last Airbender, iknow it's not an anime but a "cartoon". But still, that cartoon got me into anime! :D
 
Well, I watched Sailor Moon and Pokemon before I grasped the concept of anime. The first anime I was introduced to and knew what it was would be YuYu Hakusho, which is still one of my all time favorites to this day. I absolutely adore it.

yu yu hakusho is a diamond in the rough. i absolutely like the opening for it. it was unexpected and good and i like it a lot.

The art is very old. I can't re-watch it again. It's all about findings and it doesn't have a strong plot. I don't get why it is so popular secretwish. Why do you like the opening?
