Watching previous episodes, before picking up an anime again

When you put an anime on hold, do you usually watch some previous episodes, before picking it up where you left off?
Sometimes I do that to remember the story.
What about you guys?

i don't do that. if i keep watching it, whatever i don't remember would come back to me.
it would take too much time to watch episodes again

No, I just watch and try remember as I go. But I stopped putting stuff on hold because of this problem, now I only watch one anime at a time excluding airing ones to fix the problem of having a huge on hold list.

i rarely put anime on hold.
i usually drop anime after watching the first episode.
if it captures my attention i will watch it

I used to put anime on-hold left and right until a couple of years back. I go back and watch it if I don't remember anything(which happens if I resume a few years later), if it's not more than 5 or 6 episodes. This happened with both FMAB and Madoka.

No I don't feel the need to. It all comes back to be as a I watch.

I have watched the first season of Assassination classroom but I have started watching it from the beginning again
I would probably skip couple of episodes later.

I have to complete baby steps before i get completely tired of it. I wouldn't pick any anime after a few years.. ....
