Do you know of mahendi?
We have that plant and we collect the leaves manually to prepare the paste.
The same goes to many of the families here.

Yep....i love to do my hands and stuff for divali ....i just love mehendi.... only time I didn't do it was when I was pregnant. .. I guess you could say that I kinda live for it at divali.. I did an arm band with my kid's initials last year... it was really pretty.

That's great then. We don't use any designs.
We just cover the tips of the fingers and the middle of palm, most of the time.
 

That's great. We only really use it for like weddings and other indian occasions here. Trinidad is a very diversified country. Btw did you check out the songs I tagged you in?

I see. We use it for occasions and for casual stuff too.
I haven't and I couldn't get a chance to use my desktop computer and I don't like using my phone much

Sorry to hear about your troubles. You should try going to a hairdresser. Even if you haven't done it before, there's always a first time. Or is it too expensive in your city?
