Violet evergarden episodes 2-6 discussion

i have binge watched these 5 episodes and they are not what i expected. if violet gets that she loves major at the end, will she be able to recover from the pain of never be able to meet him again?
i liked the sixth episode of the librarian.
 
The weaker part of the series for me honestly. The emotional payoffs they were going for didn't come together that well because the writing was a bit wooden. Also Violet wanting to learn the meaning of "I Love You" was a bit corny honestly.
I liked the Training episode and the Observatory episode though. But the series only gets better from 7 until episode 11.

then i got through the worst of it, without dropping it.
i liked the sixth episode like i said before and it's not corny and she doesn't understand human emotions at all. it's not rare

The sixth episode was the observatory one I believe.
And it is they could have gone for anything else but they went for that of all other things.

I am glad that you like it. I really wanted her to get her major back to. I swear I was in tears from episode 3 till the last episode and it just makes you want to see more of it. I also binge watched it but then again if I take up any anime and like it I binge watch it lol From all the anime that I have watched so far though this one has taken my number one favorite spot..for now

that's good and i like it a little.
i won't say it's good but it's not bad
 
I have watch 4 episodes and I am not impressed.
Violet reminded me of saber from fate/zero and the entire concept of doll, short stories is bad for me.

it's not what i didn't like and i have watched better anime than this.
that's the reason why i couldn't give it a 10

Well I guess that there are bound to be better ones out there. From the recommendations they just keep getting better and better . I mean sure there are a lot that I am not taken by but there are also a few good ones that I absolutely love

if you are enjoying them then that's all you need. i am happy to see you enjoying anime and manga

Yea I am.
The good thing about manga is that once you are reading one there are normally many similar recommendations.
Never a dull moment in these. The anime are actually pretty good as well but I still find that the stories and stuff in manga are better

not all those similar recommendations are very similar but i get what you mean.
you like manga more. i like anime more but there aren't many anime, so i read manga

Woman there are so many anime out there. Guess though that you have probably been through most of them.
I do like some animes more but for the most part I'm leaning more to manga. The art and stories are so much more fulfilled and well written

i agree but not one anime is the same as another anime.
you will find similarities but that ends with the story and plot.

I agree but isn't that the point?
I mean isn't that what makes it even more interesting?

I guess but I like that it's different.
I hate watching same things over again and if the stories has the same plot it would be kinda boring to me
