I like this guy. His personality is mild, i mean.. nothing is too exaggerate from him so he is pretty much likeable. But his character is not something i want to talk about, this Yusuke guy is main character that rarely have clear victory against the major villain.

Let's trace back his fight against major villain of the series :

Hiei : Hiei clearly overpowered him in term of martial might, Yusuke use clever tactic to win the battle. Win is win but not very convincing to me

Random : He's lucky to get slip and fall into pond so his ear plugged by moss and Randou's spell backfired on him. Not a convincing win too

Suzaku : actually it's a close fight, but Yusuke get the second wind after he see Keiko in trouble. The power of love? Um.. okay, but i'm still not satisfied

Toguro : It's a draw actually. Yusuke did stand after Toguro fall but he run out of energi, he even have trouble to run from arena by himself. Besides.. Toguro wasn't killed by his spirit gun, but because overused his own energy (he did crushed Yusuke final spirit gun, so no way he was killed by it)

Sensui : A draw. The one who overpowered and killed Sensui is Raizen

Yomi : A draw. I mean.. it should be a draw if Yomi didn't get a second wind from his son's cheering

Well.. that's all. Despite all that he is one of my favorite main character and one of the best fighter

Hi BlueFog2019,
Title is the most important part of a thread. It should explain a bit more. It's for the SEO :D   As yusuke is from Yu Yu Hakusho, it would have been great to have something like 'Urameshi Yusuke from Yu Yu Hakusho character discussion' as the title.
In that way, people can search the thread title and find their way to your post, very easily.
As for Yusuke, he met a funny death in the first episode. It's just too funny.

Well yes.. i'm lazy with the title so i just write as simple as that, but you're right it should be more detailed. As far as i know we can edit content of our post or thread, but can we edit the title too? I want to do something about it and some post similar to this one haha..
He was help a child right? Yea kinda lame

Hey Star.. i just test it, so we can edit the title. But i can't do it because when i enter edit mode it also enter wide screen mode so i can't click the 'ok' for editing, i'll do it later when i use my Samsung, somehow i can't rotate my screen using my Mito

You can edit the title by selecting the full edit.
You don't need a bigger screen and this theme adjusts itself to the screen resolution man

I can click full edit, but after that it automaticly enter wide screen mode, just like thread with a video. I don't know why it's like that for me

I think you need to open that in New tab man.
Sometimes the CSS wouldn't load properly and it gets stored in your cache and loading wouldn't help

Cool man.
Sometimes it happens to me too and it's annoying. I like kurama better than yusuke

He is cool, calm and strategical type. Ah yes.. you know, when i was a kid i thought that Kurama is a girl haha..
[/quote]

I used to think the same man.
But he is cool and he is more like Sesshaoumaru from Inuyasha man

Pretty cool guy and he has some actual personality and that's a breath of fresh air, especially for a character that's from the early 90's when the modern shounen conventions were still being conceived.

Talk about modern Shounen.. i just post something about it hahaha... Good timing Madara

Same. I even thought the dub was like wrong or something when they kept calling him "he". But it was yeaars ago when I still watched anime on TV.

My first contact with Yu Yu Hakusho was by SNES video game so i don't know if there is something wrong or not, and the game is in Japanese, his voice do sounds like girl so i keep on my assumption that he's a girl for some years

Probably the one of the few shounen characters back then who was playful, straightforward, badass. He confessed to his girl, he didn't have second thoughts about kicking people's ass and he was blunt in approach, sort of .. And romance in shounen anime done in a right way would probably be in this anime

Also, the opening AMV is cool.. I hear that once in a while..

I think.. that Yusuke guy is the prototype of modern shonen main character, but unfortunately, no one comes near him, except for Gon (same author duh)

One thing I loved about this anime was its cast of characters and how they developed over the series. They completely change from how they were first shown at the start.

That's it! Yusuke develop from a total brat to matured young man (still bratty but not too much)
