Typing in your native language

As Telugu is my native language, most of the people around me use Tinglish :/
It's really difficult for me to type Telugu using English letters. I would rather type in English rather than Tinglish. Still, people use only Tinglish when it comes to messages and such.
Anyone here feels that typing in your native language using English letters is difficult, just like me?

Sometimes I type Tamil in English, when I'm talking to people who know the language properly. Otherwise it's mostly English.

When you said you type in Tamil does that mean you use English letters? or do you use Tamil letters?

What do you think 'type Tamil in English' means?
And, yeah, I use English letters if that wasn't obvious.

In that other thread, I have used Hindi words....with English letters. That's what I meant when I said typing Tamil in English.

Yes, I type Tamil words in English.

Yosh. You do know that you can use your actual Tamil letters using some special keyboard right?

I know, but this is easier, plus not everyone knows how to read Tamil properly.

I guess so and I believe most if the Indians don't know Tamil when compared to Telugu, kannada or any other language

Tamil has more speakers than Kannada. Only Telugu and Hindi have more. It's the third in terms of numbers in India.

Yeah. Something. Both of them are prominent. And, Kannada isn't even spoken a lot in Bangalore. It's dominated by North Indians, Tamils and Telugu speaking people.

I see...I didn't know that o.O
Well, as I am in Bangalore I can easily communicate with others using English but housekeeping staff, autowalas, watchmen....well...they all use Kannada. So, it's hard for me to communicate with them. I am even thinking of taking some Kannada classes. Well, my mom asked me to take them as my company offers those courses every quarter or so.

Wow, lol. Lot of traffic, right?

I had to wake up at 5 and by the time I reach my home...it's almost 7:30 or 8. I am always tired and I hate it. I believe Hyderabad is better than this

It's pretty much the same for me. I've to leave at 6, and I reach by 7 50. Though, in my case, I take trains.

O.O Trains, the sleeper class? I ....I am sorry and I hope you won't be offended but in our country the trains are not well maintained and it's kinda hard for me to believe that someone would commute by train o.O
