that most have been tough.
i use my phone a lot and i can't imagine all my data getting wiped like that.

yea it sucked but slowly everything is getting back into place with it.

you must have had a hell of a time. i can't imagine being away from internet and my manga.

Well i had my manga on my tablet, as for my internet it was down 14 days. other than that it was a downhill battle with my PC having many issues the main ones being driver fails.

in addition to that i lost my harddrive and ALL of my graphics i was working on for here and my personal projects. well over 100 projects down the drain.

i don't download manga anymore and i stream my manga and read it online.
that must have been very hard. all your time and work for nothing. i can't even imagine how you must have felt to lose all that data.
will you take a backup now?

the sad thing is that was the backup. My main SSD had a meltdown, quite figuratively one day it just stopped working completely. Yea it sucked losing all of that data.

backup and main data lost at once is very scary. it's as if everything is working against you.
don't worry you will be able to do them in no time and at all again

yea though i need to wait til i have a mass storage again as 500GB is not nearly enough

that must be a very huge data.
you can't even store that online with everything going on

hmm well about 25% of that was the images used so stalk images (I had well over a thousand of them) another 25% Was the PSD's (They take up quite a bit of space) 15-20% Finalized results (Image compression lowers size. add on i make multiple copies adds the extra 5%) the rest was GIF files, due to how large they can get when RAW it usually took the most

losing finalized images must gave been very hard. i am so sorry.

Most of the public finalized ones (IE: Projects i did for communities like this one) Are uploaded to a database but all my personal projects + My twitch partners graphics are gone. If they ever wanted a change i'd need to re-create them other than that it does suck but eh life's life

do you get paid for them?
i can't imagine losing that but if you are getting paid for it, then it's even more horrible.

Naw, I do graphics cause i enjoy em. I Never have asked for payment, I've been offered payment before.

But my mindset works like this:

Enjoy something - do it for free on my own time - fun and doesn't feel like work

Enjoy something - Get paid to do it faster/by a time - Not fun feels like work

so basically i just do it cause i want to
