Hey dudes and dudettes (and everyone in between)
I was flipping through YouTube and I came across Hero episode 9 of the eighth season and it is heartbreaking. The family
visit Dabi/Toyua who is on life support aka on death's doorstep. He's able to sarcastically offer condolences to Endeavor
being forced to retire saying "It's a bit late to flatter me. coward." I teared up when Shoto asked his favorite food and he
answered soba as well as apologizing, presumably for not being a better brother. What makes the episode more tragic is
that the training (abuse?) came from Endeavor's jealousy of All Might and that it's likely he took that jealousy out on Toyua
and Shoto, likely ruining any chance of reconciliation. Not a happy ending, but realistic.
