Do you believe that time skip in anime, ruins the storyline?
I have seen fairy tail, one piece doing that... So...

There are times that a series needs a time skip for either something to happen or for characters to get stronger. Besides, time skips can keep the plot hax away.

i don't like time skip too
but that's how it's always is and i really don't think they would do it even in one piece

It didn't ruin One Piece, the problem is that the anime started to suck for some reason after that and lost all its charm, maybe because it's more action heavy and if the anime looks like a power point presentation then it's obviously gonna be dogshit.

As for time-skips I definitely at least want a gradual passing of time, one problem with the war arc in Naruto was that it took place over a few days in one place over hundreds of chapters/episodes and it started to get stale.
If you skip a few months or a year you can still keep the series fresh, change the designs and even the way you want to tell the story. Naruto Shippuuden wouldn't have worked with a 13 year old Naruto.

Well, a 13 year old Naruto was able to stop someone and save Iruka
I don't think it would have been bad.

As I said in the other thread the War arc is about 1/3rds of the series and its own separate thing, it's still a very good series till the Pain arc.

Yes.
I have dropped it in the middle of the shinobi arc

It's not good man.
People do watch it and it's better than an average anime but it can't be compared to Naruto
