Thoughts on open relationship

i really don't know lol
people think it's just official name for cheating on your partner but i just don't know what to think lol

I think if both people are okay with an open relationship then it's fine. It's just not something my wife and I are going to do, I had friends in the past who were in an open relationship. My friend was married and he also had a boyfriend who helped raise the kids that he had with his wife. His wife is okay with the relationship, but she's not involved with the boyfriend.
