@[Zero] The premise..........But it seems kinda different from it now...........It is still good though...........Tokyo Ghoul, Zankyou no Terror and Akame ga Kill are this season's fav's, I guess...........

Akagame no kill.
I have heard a hell lot about it then tokyo ghoul.
As you are planning to watch either of them at any cost, just start with the good anime with good reviews.

Well, I finished both of them a long time ago...... I found Akame ga Kill to be a little bland, but, they both were kind of good.....

It depends on your taste.... Don't blame me if you don't like Tokyo Ghoul..... And, I believe the censored version is good enough..... I think the uncensored version has more blood splatter, but, this version itself has a good amount of that....
 

I watched akame ga kill.
It's good but the death of protagonist isn't something that would be praised by other people.
So, tokyo ghoul is popular because of that.

I will have to give it a try nonetheless.
It's too popular to pass it as a normal anime.

Yea, it is certainly.... Although, it is not a good adaptation, according to most people who have read the manga.....
 
I have watched both of these anime. I do think they are overrated. I would go with tokyo ghoul though

While I think Tokyo Ghoul is over-rated, I don't think Akame ga Kill is...... It had a fantastic start, and hooked everyone's interest, but, as the episodes passed, people started to recognise what it was..... I foolishly thought this was going to be the next Full Metal Alchemist.....

I liked them both equally. They got different story in different era's. I don't think it's a good thing to even compare them. I liked tokyo ghoul better but thats my own opinion.

I compared them because they came during the same season and they were the hot topic anime during that season, apart from maybe Terror in Resonance which was my favourite....... And, I liked Tokyo Ghoul more too.....
 
Tokyo Ghoul is a lot better than Akame ga kill.
Both of them got a lot of killings. If you have a weak stomach, then don't watch them.

I mean this was posted in 2014, I watched both that year itself. I didn't like either of them.
