I happened to see the trailer of this anime on youtube and it looked intriguing as fuck and so I watched the first episode and it did not disappoint. It's hard to describe what I saw but it's a mystrey thriller anime with great animation and multiple mystrey's running in parallel and I don't know if it meant to be scary but this first episode had some of the scariest moments I've seen in anime and it was done with nothing but the story telling and atmosphere.
From the first episode it looks like a story like higurashi with the MCs all dying and the timeline resetting. It's not a new concept I've seen it so many times but the body doubles and the murder mystery make it new.
