strong female lead

do you have anything against strong female lead?
some peeps don't like them. they expect that to be tsundure character.
but what if an anime contains a strong female lead with no fan-service and no cute side to the character.
can people accept that anime?
 
It depends if the characters is charismatic enough as to attract the fans' attention and, of course, the story is also important...

I think the claymore, Seirei no Moribito and ghost in the shell anime would be a good example. Black lagoon, jormungand and angel beats would also fit the bill.

It is 8 films, some of them about an hour long, a couple are 2 hours, I think. So it is about the length of a normal 2 cour anime.
