There were times when I lost some gold jewellery and it came back to me. I never expected it but it did happen. There are people who return stuff that don't belong to them.
Over here, if there is an accident like that, most of the time people argue. I think it's Japan but I am not so sure... If there is an accident one should provide the compensation. So a person tried to kill someone as it's easy than paying for it. I don't remember it correctly but that's the gist of it

It wasn't that often and I didn't buy anything fancy just like a big pack of them so it wasn't such a big loss if I lost some every now and then.

i would have asked the incharge person to check everyone's bags.

It was in my bag, and when I boarded the train after getting down from the bus it was missing. Didn't leave it laying around somewhere, and the bag was closed too.
