Starting episode of one outs anime

The episode was good..... We were introduced to a very interesting world, and the setup was neat.....
The reason was probably because You ya is the antagonist, and when you make him win against someone who you are introduced to as a genius, your respect for him increases, and he comes to appear as skilled and badass....

Senpai touya is the main protagonist not the antagonist. Or Are you talking about kojima?

Have you ever felt that sport anime should explain that sport first before jumping into the story?

It should. After a few episodes of watching One Outs, I went to Youtube and learnt everything I could about baseball, so, after that it wasn't difficult for me.

That's cool. Except that you should run four bases to get a home run and other stuff is just swinging the bat. There ends my knowledge of baseball.but three balls to the catcher will give you an out right?

Three pitches will give an out. A pitch is delivered when the ball is thrown into the strike zone. It's a ball if it's outside the strike zone. Four consecutive balls mean the batter can perform a walk, that is, he can move on to the next base.

Then if he walks like that to home base...how many runs will he get?

Walking to homebase from the starting position would give the offense(that is, the batting team), one run. 4 balls enable a batsman to go to the next base, and that's it.
