Spring 2018 Anime Preview

Winter 2018 is over, and Spring is here. On first glance, it's pretty much Sequel: The Season. Half the anime I'm interested in are sequels, and they are all sequels to really, really popular shows. Unlike Fall and Winter, the one having the most hype isn't new ones, but sequels. There's actually nothing that has gained traction on the same level as Ancient Magus' Bride or Violet Evergarden or Kakegurui before going into the season.

Pretty much only gonna watch steins;gate 0. I didn't even finish the most recent Tokyo ghoul so i will give that a miss.

Yeah, steins;gate was one of only a few series that had me hooked and watching constantly until the end it would also be in my top 5 maybe even top 3. As for tokoyo ghouls second season I got about half way and dropped it. Do you think the new season will be any better, would it be worth finishing the second season to watch the new one?

I am interested in Tokyo ghoul: re. Other sequels are not to my liking and I wouldn't mind skipping them.
As for this tokyo ghoul re, I hope they didn't mess up the ending and quality.

It's always like this, Spring starts and I'm just starting the winter anime >_<

I fully plan on watching the Persona 5 and Stines Gate anime once its dubbed. I will check out Food wars and Hero academia once I get into the spring anime.

The problem with Tokyo Ghoul season 2, according to fans is that it completely abandoned the manga and is mostly anime original. I'm currently reading the Tokyo Ghoul manga, and I'm at around chapter 70, and season 1 adapted like 60 chapters, so if the content in the manga turns out to be better than the shit-show that was season 2, I have a lot of hope for Tokyo Ghoul:re.

Funimation is simuldubbing Steins;Gate, so there'll be like a three week gap between the Jap episode and the dubbed episode. That's always how Funimation has worked. And, as for HeroAca, Funimation is simuldubbing it and is releasing it on the same week as the Japanese version for the first few episodes, so you can look forward to that.

Yeah I heard that for the new season they are trying to squeeze in a lot of chapters per episode. I'll wait until it has all aired and if its any good i'll consider giving the series a second chance.

Steins gate 0 is a no brainer. That caligula anime along with Mahou shoujo site are some that look interesting as fuck.Fate/stay night heaven's feel movie because well fate. Shoukegi no souma, noku no hero acedemia s2 and legend of the galactic heroes are on my plan to watch list for later so can't watch the sequels now but eventually.

Overall not a bad season.

Oh yeah the Bluray for the first movie releases this season, so I may as well start watching UBW.
At least there isn't any anime that's over-hyped, and it ends up being disappointing(Violet for you and Mahoutsukai for me).

Stines gate is not something I can wait even a week on, I'll just wait till its on DvD and binge watch it.

I also see there is a new gundam builders anime this season, hopefully its good as the past ones.
