Should anime openings be more musically diverse?

What do you all think about it?
I feel like most of the anime got the same tracks or at least similar tracks.
So, do you feel the same?

Depends on the genre you’re watching, as a lot of shows in the same genre will have similar sounding op’s and ed’s

It didn't cross my mind to be honest.
I will have to look at other genres openings a bit to get more information

i think they need to be diverse as well
most of the time they are pretty much the same in almost all the genres.

All it really needs to suit is suit the show its accompanying. There is a lot of generic j-pop/j-rock openings and endings out there but in some of those instances I just couldn't really see it being any other way.
I'm sure there's lots of OPs have a jazzy sound to them but I've not encountered much outside of Baccano and Cowboy Bebop's OPs, which makes them stand out that bit more (to me, at least)

openings can be good too
i am sure clo doesn't quite mean it that way star and now i am curious to know more about these anime endings

lol i never could have guessed
but the openings should have been more cool as they can make an impression for an anime.
