Try to avoid posts with less than 10 words in it. We are struggling to keep the quality here. So don't make things hard for us by making such posts.
Hope you understand our motto and stand by us

Thank you,
AMF team

I try to post good posts. So this is not something for me to worry about. What do you do to people who don't post quality posts? Ban them?

No. But that should know that they are lowering the quality of the forum. We can make suggestions but we can't make them see things that they are not willing to see

Take my advice that I've gathered over ten years of running and visiting other forums, do not try and run a quality based forum. I of course don't mean allow posts that might make a simple remark such as lol, but your first and foremost concern should be is keeping the forum a fun and interesting place to post at.

I agree with Demon. Things like this and asking users to create more threads is not a move I would choose to do really. It's important to let your users enjoy the forum the way they want, of course if you're getting one word responses all the time then it's bad but every couple of posts, it shouldn't be a concern really.

i don't like short posts too but if you got to thank someone, then how would you do it but saying thank you? it would be just two words and most of the time, i can't even say thank you but use thanks

You can always leave a comment in their profiles. I hope you do know about profile comments. So, you could always leave a thank you note and that member would receive an alert

Use the reputation button. It's a pretty good way of thanking someone.

That is a great idea Madara. It would be great if people uses it, after the fix.
Or may be a like plugin could be used instead
