I have been using dell for seven years now. My first laptop got a mother board problem and my second one is at it's death bed too. I believe it's the same graphics problem yet again.
I have been thinking of HP but...my sister's second HP laptop got speakers problem...
So....are there any good laptop brands out there?

I been using Asus for like 4 yrs now.. Except the past two months.. I have speaker problems as well.. It just depends upon the usage at the end of the day.. Brand names are important too.. But still, they dont guarentee the life span of the gadget.. I used mine to play PC games.. Used to continuously charge it cause of that.. I abused it a lot.. Thats why I had to replaced battery twice too..

Hence, use wisely and you can see you laptop alive....least for some years more than expected or maybe months......

I see. I got tired of DELL I suppose. It's not that tough and not to mention that it's always the mother board or graphic card problems with it. They can't be repaired at all.
ASUS huh. Thank you sase chan :D

First Laptop was DELL and it worked well for 5 years. Now it's HP(been 2 years I suppose) and it's working fine as well.
HP is great for Laptop.

I have been searching for almost 2 months now xD
It's just that...I want a reliable laptop and I don't wanna spend too much either like 1 lakh or something.....because I am supposed to be paying for it out of my own pocket, for the very first time xD

Any good laptop won't cost more than 35k. Unless you want one with high-end specs for gaming.

I would personally recommend a Lenovo or ASUS PC if you can get your hands on one. But either way, all PCs are mass produced, all of them will have issues.

I think they are all pretty much the same but as long as you treat them well they should last a long time, I've had my dell for close to 4 years now and it still runs great. But like Sase said if you do a lot of gaming on any laptop it will ware them down real quick.

I have an i5 processor with 4 GB RAM and mine cost 30k. You just need to find the right store and buy it at the right time(during festivals, for example, like New Year or Diwali or during Aadi sale).

I am not much of a gamer but I have this habit of using it too much when I am at home. Sometimes it works 12-15 hours during weekends.
I use it browse stuff online or visit forums and such.

Oh. Well I don't think my laptop would be able to hold the fort for that long. Well I will take it to a maintenance point and get it checked before giving up on it completely.
Diwali is still 2 months away ya know

try lenovo, toshiba, apple. i like apple products but they are too expensive.
do you have any brands on your mind at all?

Hmm...I am thinking of getting a laptop with backlit keyboard and also with good processing power.
I don't have that many conditions at all... Except that I want it to be reliable and tough.

Get a desktop. They are cheaper and more inexpensive. I don't get why people like laptops more and not the desktops. Why would you want to carry a computer around?

Wait for Diwali and go to an actual store and buy. Don't buy something really expensive from Amazon.
Plus the first one costs 100,000. Are you willing to spend that much for a laptop?
