Regarding subscriptions...

Well, already received alerts wouldn't be undone I suppose. 
Let's see if we still face this issue or not.

@MadaraUchiha you asked me about this remember? You can run some tests and let me know if everything is okay or not.

Edit: Never mind. we are still getting subscribed ;_;
 
I really hope this would get resolved soon. If upgrading brought all this before then may be we should downgrade and see if that stabilizes the issues or not
 
This is still an issue and I don't like to go through that many alerts which are not meant for me. Do you plan to fix it soon!
 
it could be good if you can get it fixed. i tried deleting them like you said, but they are getting to my list again

is there anything that i could do?

As long as it's not forgotten, and can be fixed soon, I don't see anything serious for this.
Sorry but I thought everyone had forgotten about this

We wouldn't forget an issue which is not resolved. It's just that, it's a known bug.... And mybb is still trying to fix that.
We are not so sure how long it will take for it to get fixed.
