Supporting the same great style and musical backing, part 3 makes that usual anime sin. When you get a good ending you should never continue the series.

Part 3 is only in a movie as it never got a tv series version and once again will keep you wanting more in this series, specially with how this played out in a very twisted but loving way.

Anyone here see this part? Anyone hoping to hear news of a much needed part 4 soon?
 
i haven't checked this. i will see it. i never knew it had parts.
i watched all the 12 episodes and thought that was that
 
Rebellion is a bit of a clusterfuck for me. I think it's a necessary sequel, after all Homura was the only one who didn't have a complete arc. And it did seem like they were going in the right direction. It's just that the first half was just meandering here and there and the second half turns into a convoluted mess. They could have toned it down and balanced the whole thing. I still like the art and animation though, but it's just incomprehensible at times.
 
I watched it twice and even though I didn't like the ending it was still amazing and a real mindfuck.

Saying clusterfuck is putting it mildly. Just so much going on in that movie and feels like they just ended it on a bad point. Really need a part 4.

Madoka is the best-selling anime of all time I think, and a lot of people liked this movie so I'm not sure if they'll continue or anything, but another part is not unlikely due to the popularity. But Shaft, the studio that made this is in a predicament, last I heard, a ton of animators left the studio.
