Popular anime you didn't like

What are some popular anime you either don't like or have lukewarm opinions on?

For me,
Blue ExorcistClannad/Clannad: After Story
 
I am not fond of many popular anime. I don't like Naruto, one piece, attack on Titan, log horizon
 
i have many anime like that. like/dislike fate stay night series, even one piece too. there aren't that many anime, that i don't have this feeling.
 
Tokyo ghoul root A was so confusing and weird that I just dropped it and as for deadman wonderland I liked it a lot but the anime kinda just abruptly ended so I read the manga still pretty decent I liked it though.

i am not familiar with this but are you talking about the first season or the third season? first two seasons are not confusing in the least and the third one is like watching another anime

i really don't get the confusing part that you speak of in the second season. it's really the continuation of the first season without missing any arcs from the manga

Well it was a bit of a combination of finding it boring, I liked the first season but it went in a direction I didn't really like.

It wasn't confusing for me but it was weird. I hate saying this statement because I've read like two manga(Naruto and Tokyo Ghoul) and I'm not supportive of the argument that an anime should completely and faithfully adapt a manga because I think some artistic liberties must be taken but here's the thing: the manga is better, particularly the chapters corresponding to the second season. The second season is mostly anime-original.
My main problem was that Kaneki joined Aogiri Tree, which makes no sense whatsoever, and they don't even attempt to explain it.

I'm planning to watch every single anime by Kyoto Animation other than Myriad Colours Phantom World, and since Haruhi is like THE light novel adaptation anime, I'm surprised. Did you watch it in the old broadcast order or the new one?
 
Lots. Tokyo ghoul, clannad, gintama, no game no life, re:zero, shigatsu was kinda boring, gurren lagan was awful. Plenty more I don't have on my lists because I dropped them too fast.

don't totally get it but there are many other people who didn't like the second season and there is also that it doesn't follow manga. you should pick the manga instead.

All of them are legit popular so I'm really surprised. I didn't like Tokyo Ghoul and Clannad either, and I liked Gintama. Haven't watched the rest.
