I had an idea like this back in grade school when I did a lot of poems, I really like what you did with it.

Stop and listen,
Listen to the silence all around
Listen to sounds of nature calling to you
The birds chirping, the bees buzzing, the leaves all rackling in the wind
It's silent, it's soothing and calming outside
But within you a storm rages on.
A storm of pain, of anger of betrayal and so much more
Feelings of confusion and lost welled up into your being
Can this storm be stopped or will it just continue to rage on and on and on
With one last try you stand alone
And give it your all this time
For if you give in now and give everything away
You may forever rue this day

Ahan, since I see this thread here, I found an old poem, maybe back from 2015 or so recently xD
Here it is:
Come what may, with all it has.
For I shall always stick with you,
Through builds and breaks,
Pains and gains.
Come what may, with all it has.
For I shall always be your shadow,
a wall that listens,
A friend that stays.
Come what may, with all it has.
For my love never fades.
Come what may, with all it has.
For I shall always stick with you.
It is actually incomplete and really short but then I don't think I'll ever finish the incomplete works now xD

This is a really well-written poem. I love writing poems myself and I am a huge dog person so it was interesting to read. Dogs are a beautiful animal and a mans best friend. It is impossible to ignore their beauty as even when walking down the street, I find myself admiring these beautiful hounds! Luckily I don't remember seeing any stray dogs, or if I have its been such a rare occurrence that I have forgotten. It must be terrible for them, as they deserve love more than anyone.
