Moving a site basically means copy-pasting the site from the GoDaddy server to a new server and then you change the DNS with your domain register. Let's say that the site doesn't work on the new server. Does that mean that you lost the site? No. The site is still on the GoDaddy server. It was not deleted. It was only copy-pasted somewhere else. Like, if you copy a file from your computer from one folder into another. Does the file disappear from the first folder? No. It remains there. The only thing that happens is that a copy of it is created.

Lol. It's just that I don't trust someone to do complex stuff for me. If possible I would do that myself.
