PhpBB migration

Hmm Just looked it up and checked out some of their forums made with it, Seems very clean and sturdy.

For 2 good reasons, I'd say go for it.

#1: Less stress for you as it is a free software

#2: It'll keep this amazing community afloat

Yeah. Mybb is a free software too but the hosting is too much for our forum.
It's just that...phpbb is responsive.

hmm, i love how clean it feels it's response time is nice too.

So, you are okay with it then? There is a tiny chance that we might lose all the data though. We might start a new ...that's the whole reason why I didn't look for another software until now. Will you still be okay with giving it a try?

course though i don't know about the others i don't mind at all.

You might lose your 450 posts. Is that okay with you Ace? You can be honest. We can try something else.

Points can easily be racked up again 450 is nothing :)

oh I don't know if I get to have an opinion on this but I think you probably should. Starting from scratch is nothing we've done it before with nbf, and if it's going to be cleaner and faster then you could probably get more active users than before. Plus if it's free then you wouldn't need to worry about getting enough donations or anything like that.

As I have mentioned even mybb the forum software that we are using now is free too. It's just that our hosting costs are too much.
Anyway, never mind. I will think about this a bit more.

By now you should have realised that I don't know anything about these :/.

o.O Really? How come? There is something called google ya know. Just google it and look at a forum that uses it.

That's because you're using the wrong hosting company. I don't really understand why you don't move from Godaddy.
