Pets named after anime characters

Not my pet, but i found out my friend over in Texas has a dog named Dende (from the dragon ball series) 

have you any pets named after characters or do you know of any?
 
no i don't
i don't think i have heard of this before but people are marrying those characters and i am not surprised anymore.
 
That's a cute name for a pet, hahah. I like it!

I haven't had any pets that I named after anime characters. Not sure what I'd name any but Dragonball seems like a good source now that I think about it.
I know we had a dog called Athena, and it'd be funny if that was because of Zodiac Knights. I do recall they were airing back then and I wouldn't miss the show.

would you really want name your pet after an anime name?
i don't think it would be a good idea lol and your family wouldn't know what the meaning is.

cool but most of the time, it's the kids who get to name those pets lol.
believe me you can never make them say what you want.

lol that i agree.
but most of the kids wouldn't know what anime is and they would probably name everything as shin chan.
