It should either be "an imaginary land" or "an imaginary place" or an "imaginary world", etc...........How can it be "an imaginary and"? If you still don't get it, then let me remind you that imaginary is an adjective, and an adjective is something that describes a noun, and using a conjunction after this adjective in this context is grammatically wrong..............
