This is indeed a surprise. I am pretty sure that fourth gear is for bound man but not for fisher man :D
I wonder what this other alternative for the fourth gear is capable of.
 
Yea we've already seen Boundman and Tankman. I'm pretty excited for next week. How many Rayleigh flashbacks do we need to beat Katakuri? xD

in this arc, they have introduced tankman and fish man. big mom pirates are intense and they are all getting introduced to let us know who they are when luffy fight with big mom again.
this will be over in the next 3 episodes but i am more concerned about bege and his escape.

Well, we missed luffy's training completely during those 3 years of time skip.
Of course Oda would want us to know, how hard Luffy trained :D

We never saw some of the really badly beaten characters again wanting revenge.
So I assumed some of them were killed during the fight.

I'm pretty sure all the villains are alive and are probably arrested or under hiding. Arlong, Rob Lucci, Doffy, everyone.

Interesting. I wonder why some of them don't seek revenge at all.
Except for those foxy pirates I never saw anyone wanting revenge and those pirates are too weak.

Luffy keeps getting stronger as each arc progresses so they don't stand a chance. And I think almost everyone is arrested. Not sure about Rob Lucci though.

He is with Marines and they just can't arrest him as he is one of them.
Well clearly he is stronger but they could have improved too :D

Yeah but with One Piece being made so perfect for the plot to move from one point to another it would be too boring to have a villain return.

Well, I suppose but that would make it a little realistic.
Now that I think about it, it never happened in any of the anime, that I have watched.

Buggy kept returning although he turned into a comedic character, Toguro returned in Yuu Yuu Hakusho, and Dio from JoJo Part 1 returns in JoJo Part 3.

You are forgetting that people would get bored of it man.
If the same old people kept challenging the main protagonists, people would lose the enthusiasm.
 


Well we are following the protagonist and his progression so it would be monotonous to have the same antagonist appear again and again. Besides, these protagonists are always on the younger side and when you are young you can only grow, whereas the antagonists have usually reached their prime when they are up against the heroes.
