I've to search, I guess. Right now, I'm watching One Piece, Boku no Hero Academia season 2, shingeki no kyojin season 2, and Boruto, so these take up my time as is.

It's good, but, it's not edgy like Naruto. Naruto takes place during our heroes' Genin days, and this takes place during their academy days. I feel like a little bit splash of blood and a bit more mature tone would make it as good as Naruto.

It's like taking coolness to its extreme.
I feel like it's trying to do two things: please Naruto fans, and be kid-friendly, and I feel like the anime gets compromised trying to achieve both.

i thought of watching it but i am not gonna. is naruto's kid a girl or boy? may be a boy by the name. is he gonna become the next hokage? is he like nruto?

I really don't get why people don't give out even 9 so easily. I can understand 10 but not even 9?

That's because people seem to think 7 means average, but it's actually a good score. An average score would be 5 or 6. 8 means very good, 9 great.
I thought this was a very good fast-paced anime with its flaws and I've explained my reasons in all my episodic threads.

I have given 10s to Death Note, Code Geass Season 2 and Full Metal Alchemist Brotherhood. They have major flaws too but I'm able to look past them because of their re-watchability and the fact that they are a tier over everything else I've ever watched.

Those are the masterpieces.
I was sure you would ass Gintama too in your list. It's at the top in MAL, for almost everything.

I have watched season 1, the first 201 episodes that is. I liked it a lot sure but I would probably give it a high 8.

It's high enough. Usually I see people giving at least 9 easily for a relatively good anime

High 8 as in 8.5 to 9.
9 means great though, it probably has one or two major flaws that prevent it from being perfect, it's not just good.

but i would say may be not many people giving 10 made it so scarce for any anime, which is just sad.

I think it's good to have something as your gold standard so that you'll know what you like and what you don't.

i agree too.
but i think not giving 10 to an anime started out as some snobs believed nothing is perfect and that continued even now. i remember those days.
